Whenever I was in search of motivational lectures for being confident and after researching it deeply some questions were popped up in my mind box and I must say you'll also face the same so let me clear up your confusion too!

  1. What is the boundary for lack of confidence and overconfidence?

Lack of confidence is in the sense of low self-esteem, in simple words when we are afraid of rejection and disapproval (the fear of failure) it makes us hesitant and unsure even we are very sure of anything we are going to present.

Overconfidence is in the sense of you are not even a little bit sure about what you are going to say by claiming that you are an expert or pro and you can easily do it but in reality, you even don't have any idea how to kick start the dare you take.

(and the valid reason behind this question was no one wants to be disliked by people with the tag of overconfidence, so we must know the boundaries)

2. Why is confidence more important in our lives to be a successful man?

. self-confidence is more major for career success than talent.

. lone who appeared more confident achieved a higher social status.

. a simple help like giving men cologne boosted their confidence enough to be rated as visibly more attractive in photographs.

So, if confidence is so important to success then you must carry yourself with confidence. However, if you are not feeling confident there are numerous things you can do to quite fake it until you make it:

1. Practice power poses before events:

Do the wonder-woman pose. Research shows that it changes your brain’s perception of yourself by tricking your mind into believing you are more confident than you are.

2. Do practice in front of the mirror:

Practicing talking in front of the mirror before the event can increase your self-esteem, so you must use mirrors because it makes your speech influence which can make you look more confident.

3. Make eye contact:

Eye contact is crucial for coming across as confident. When you’re speaking to someone, look them in the eyes and continue to have eye contact when they are speaking to you too.

4. Speak clearly and slowly:

Take your time and speak slowly, studies suggest that people with proficiency often speak slowly to inspire their listeners to grip every single word.

5. Use supportive self-talk:

The use of self-talk can improve your performance by helping you adjust your feelings and thoughts about those events. Positive self-talk can help you feel confident and perform better at endurance (forbearance) events too.

6. Use your hands:

When you move your hands to explain what you are talking about, you will help your audience understand your points, so make sure to use hand gestures when you speak but when you are listening to others then put your hands together to avoid fidgeting.

7. Dress for success:

Dress smart because what you wear has a direct effect on how powerful and secure you feel in public, thus dressing well can boost your confidence.

8. Channel memories of confidence:

A study found that casting your mind back to a time when acted confidently can make you look and feel more confident.

I’m pretty sure after applying these tricks and tips you will look more confident than ever before and it will make you more demanding in future as it matters the most in lives.
